Common Yellow Grass Butterfly

DESCRIPTION: These bright yellow little butterflies inhabit open woodland and grassland and can been seen in most gardens throughout NSW, QLD NT and WA. The male reflects UV from the uppper wings and the females prefer males with bright UV reflection. They breed throughout the year and have a variety of host plants including species of Acacia and Cassia.
