Kemp's Ridley Sea Turtle

With an estimated 1,000 breeding females in the wild the Kemp’s Ridley is the world’s most endangered sea turtle. They engage in a rare nesting behavior called “arribada” in which large groups of females gather offshore at a particular nesting site and then come ashore in synchronized waves to lay their eggs.
