Description: If you look closely at it you will be reminded of a violin with its rubbery looking shaped body. It is from the family Carabidae (subfamily Lebiinae). Its body is flat and resembles dead leaf matter making it well camouflaged whilst out hunting for small larvae of other insects on which it feeds.
